Agentic AI Systems

Human-led. Agent-powered.

Your judgment stays in control. The agents do the heavy lifting — taking actions, completing tasks, and running your processes end-to-end. Built on Claude, wired to your tools, designed around exactly how you operate.

What Makes This Different

A chatbot answers questions.
An agent gets things done.

Most "AI for business" is a wrapper around ChatGPT with your logo on it. That's not what we build. We build agents — systems with memory, tools, and the ability to take real actions inside your business.

Generic chatbot

Answers questions. Forgets everything. Knows nothing about your business. Requires full re-prompting every session.

AI copilot / assistant

Suggests and autocompletes. Still needs a human to execute every step. Saves minutes, not hours.

Agentic system

Takes actions. Uses your tools. Completes multi-step tasks end-to-end. Operates autonomously on defined workflows.

The Problem

Generic AI doesn't know your business.

And it never will — unless someone builds it for you.

01

Off-the-shelf tools are built for everyone

ChatGPT, Copilot, generic chatbots — tuned for the average. They don't know your pricing, your clients, your process, or your industry quirks.

02

SaaS subscriptions stack up, deliver little

Another AI platform means another login, another integration, another monthly fee — for something that still can't answer a question about your own business.

03

Your leads still fill out dumb forms

Contact forms are a dead end. No qualification, no personalisation, no instant value — just an email into a void. Your competitors are already doing this better.

04

Your team's best time goes to repetitive admin

Proposals, onboarding emails, status updates, report generation — tasks that follow the same pattern every time but still eat hours of human attention every week.

05

No one is building this for small business

Enterprise AI is for enterprise budgets. The SME market gets chatbot builders and prompt packs. We build the real thing — at a scope that makes sense for your size.

What We Build

Two things. Both bespoke.

We build AI systems for the inside of your business, and AI flows for the front of it.

AI Workflow Systems

Your business, with an AI that actually knows it.

Custom Claude environments built around your workflows. Commands, skills, and context all tuned to how your business operates. A team member that knows your services, your clients, your tone — and works at the speed of thought.

  • Custom slash commands for your most repeated tasks
  • Connected to your CRM, billing, calendar, and email
  • Built-in brand voice and deep business context
  • Automates onboarding, proposals, reporting, and comms
  • Runs in your environment — you own everything
  • Multi-agent orchestration for complex workflows
Conversational Lead Flows

Replace your contact form with something that actually converts.

Smart conditional flows that guide visitors through a branded experience — asking the right questions, branching on their answers, generating a personalised report by email. Leads qualify themselves and arrive pre-briefed.

  • Multi-step conditional logic — not a chatbot widget
  • AI-generated personalised report delivered by email
  • Pre-qualifies leads before they reach your inbox
  • Embeds into your Astro or WordPress site natively
  • Captures leads at peak intent — high perceived value
  • CRM and email automation on submission
Why Claude

Not every model is built for business.

We chose Claude by Anthropic deliberately — and we run it ourselves before recommending it to anyone.

Best-in-class reasoning

Claude handles complex, multi-step instructions without losing context. It follows nuanced business logic, maintains tone across long tasks, and knows when to ask rather than assume.

Safety-first architecture

Anthropic's Constitutional AI research means Claude is honest, helpful, and bounded. It won't hallucinate confidently, won't leak context between sessions, and won't act outside defined guardrails.

Built for agentic use

Claude's API and MCP (Model Context Protocol) support make it the ideal backbone for autonomous agents — tools, memory, multi-agent orchestration, and real-world integrations all work cleanly.

Proof

We didn't read about this.
We built it for Shadowtek first.

Every system we offer a client, we run ourselves daily. These are real tools in production.

EVA
Flagship Agent

EVA

Executive Assistant & Chief of Staff

EVA runs the business with us — triaging email, sweeping the support queue, drafting client replies in our voice, watching infrastructure, and surfacing what needs a decision. Scheduled around the clock, escalates the right things, and never sends without approval. She reaches the whole stack through a Model Context Protocol server we built ourselves — 550+ tools across 18 platforms, on one authenticated connection.

She answers text messages too — in about five seconds, with every decision logged, including every decision to stay quiet. See how that works →

EVA · Messaging Live since 31 July 2026

EVA answers your email.
She also answers your texts.

Every text answered in about five seconds, filed, and logged — including the ones she decides not to answer.

Texts arrive at all hours, land in a personal inbox, and get handled by memory and guilt. Nothing becomes a ticket, so nothing gets measured or followed up — and the owner never switches off. EVA reads every inbound message, decides whether it warrants a reply, sends one in your wording, and writes the reason to an audit log.

~5s

15
checks before replying
139
automated tests
  • Knows when to stay quiet. Fifteen ordered checks run on every message. The first one that matches stops the chain — and its name goes in the log, so silence is always explainable.
  • Won't interrupt you. If you're already mid-conversation with someone, EVA stays out of it. An automated "we'll come back to you" in the middle of a live exchange is worse than silence.
  • Can't loop, can't run away. Cooldowns are claimed before a reply is sent, and hard daily caps mean there's a ceiling on what the system can ever send — whatever goes wrong.
  • Preview before it's live. Check exactly what any person would receive, and why, without sending anything. The preview runs the same code as the live path, so it can't drift.
  • Can't be left on by accident. Holiday mode is a dated window, not a switch — it expires when you're back, and the reply carries the actual return date. The kill switch is one tap.
  • Tells you when it's broken. A check every four hours proves it can send, is still receiving, and that replies are landing. A missed signal raises the alarm — rather than the system going quiet and hoping.

What it deliberately doesn't do

  • Doesn't answer for you — it acknowledges and routes, never pretends to resolve the request.
  • Doesn't have opinions about content — the wording is yours, written once, in your voice.
  • Doesn't join group chats.
  • Doesn't reply to strangers by default.
eva — messaging · decision log

* illustrative — names, numbers and message bodies are invented. The live system logs the same fields.

The log found something we hadn't

On day four it showed EVA had answered a client 34 seconds before Steve did — twice in three days. Nobody designed for that. It's now a measured, logged number rather than an impression, which is the entire reason every decision gets written down.

We pointed it at our own number first. It's been running unattended since 31 July 2026, answering real clients, verified against real hardware — not just in tests. Client builds are scoped per engagement: a dedicated business line we provision, no hardware, and nothing to install. Your existing personal number stays yours.

Under the hood

We didn't buy the integrations.
We built the server.

Everything EVA does, she does through one Model Context Protocol server we wrote and run on Cloudflare Workers. Not a chain of third-party connectors, not a no-code automation platform — a single authenticated endpoint, one module per platform, that we extend whenever a job needs something new.

That's why the integration question is rarely a blocker. If your stack includes something internal, legacy, or too niche to appear on anyone's connector list, it isn't a dead end — it's another module. We've written fourteen of them.

Our Origin

Built because we needed it.
Proven because we ran it first.

Shadowtek AI didn't start as a product. It started as Steve Dey solving his own problem — building AI agents to run Shadowtek faster and better. Once proven internally, a partnership with Adam Benz from Lead Laundry turned it into something scalable: agentic systems for marketing, lead generation, and client workflows that work in the real world.

Steve Dey

Founder

Steven Dey

shadowtek.com.au

"I got tired of watching capable businesses drown in repetitive admin while 'AI tools' gave them a chat window and called it automation. I built something that actually does the work."

Adam Benz

Partner

Adam Benz

leadlaundry.com.au

"The lead qualification flows we run through Shadowtek AI don't just collect contacts — they arrive pre-briefed, pre-qualified, and ready to buy. The conversion difference is measurable from day one."

Use Cases

What it looks like in the real world.

Every industry has repetitive, high-stakes admin. Here's where agents make the real difference.

Trades & Construction

Job enquiry flow

Homeowner answers 5 questions about their job. Agent generates a scoped brief and estimated range — sent to the tradie and the lead instantly. No back-and-forth.

Professional Services

Pre-consult qualifier

Law firm, accountant, or consultant. Client answers intake questions. Agent drafts a personalised brief for the practitioner before the meeting starts.

Web & Creative Agencies

Internal AI system

Custom Claude setup with full agency context. Writes proposals, briefs, and client updates in your voice — on command. Knows your stack, your clients, your pricing.

Real Estate

Property match flow

Buyer answers questions about goals, budget, and lifestyle. Agent generates a personalised suburb shortlist with reasoning — instant branded report, no agent time required.

Health & Allied Health

Patient intake agent

New patient completes a guided intake flow. Agent summarises history, flags key concerns, and generates a structured brief for the practitioner — ready before the consult.

E-Commerce & Retail

Post-purchase workflows

Agent monitors orders, triggers personalised follow-up sequences, handles routine support queries, and flags edge cases for human review — all without manual intervention.

What Clients Say

Real businesses. Real results.

"I was skeptical at first — we'd tried 'automation' before and it just created more work. This was different. The morning intake process that used to eat 90 minutes now runs itself before anyone's at their desk."

Mark Oosterbeek

Operations Director, Peak Civil Group

"Our sales team used to chase cold leads all day. Now the AI pre-qualifies, follows up, and books the call — by the time we pick up the phone they already know our pricing and have questions ready."

Priya Nair

Founder, Uplift Financial

"We deliver web projects for 40+ clients. The reporting alone used to take a full day each month. That's gone. The system pulls everything together and sends it. Clients actually read it now too."

FAQ

Common questions.

Do I need to be technical to use what you build? +
No. We build the system, configure the integrations, and hand it over with training and documentation. Your team uses it through familiar interfaces — no coding required.
What's the difference between this and just using ChatGPT? +
ChatGPT knows nothing about your business — you re-explain context every session. What we build is a purpose-trained system that knows your brand, your services, your clients, your tools, and your workflows. It acts, not just answers.
Who owns the system after you build it? +
You do. Everything runs in your environment using your API keys and your accounts. No proprietary platform, no lock-in. You can modify, extend, or hand it to any developer after delivery.
How long does it take to build? +
A conversational lead flow typically ships in 1–2 weeks. A full internal AI system with integrations usually takes 3–6 weeks depending on complexity. We'll scope it clearly before you commit.
Is my business data safe? +
Yes. We use Anthropic's Claude API, which does not train on your data by default under commercial API terms. Your business context lives in your environment, not ours. We follow secure development practices throughout.
Can EVA handle text messages as well as email? +
Yes. EVA reads every inbound text, decides whether it warrants a reply, sends one in your wording, and logs the reason for every decision — including every decision to stay silent. Fifteen ordered checks run before any reply goes out: she won't interrupt a conversation you're already having, won't reply twice to the same person, won't answer strangers by default, and won't join group chats. We've been running it on our own number since July 2026.
Do I need to install anything, or hand over my personal mobile? +
Neither. Messaging runs on a dedicated business line we provision as part of the build — there is no hardware, no app to install, and no access to your existing personal number. You set the business hours, the wording, who gets answered, and any holiday window, and you can preview exactly what any given person would receive before it goes live.
Do you offer ongoing support after launch? +
Yes. We offer ongoing management retainers for clients who want us to iterate, expand, and maintain their systems. Think of it as a monthly dev relationship — we keep the system sharp as AI capabilities and your needs evolve.
